Notre Dame fans and its opponents fans -- have come to expect to be greeted with the words; "Welcome to Notre Dame" (multiple times) when they attend a football game at Notre Dame Stadium. The man responsible for this is -- Cappy Gagnon '66 -- Notre Dame's Program Manager, Crowd Control.
Cappy and his team of 857 ushers -- make the "Notre Dame Experience" -- world class and the envy of every opponents' fans who visit. A letter ran today in the Salt Lake City Tribune -- that spoke to Utah's attempt to "re-create" the Notre Dame experience at their game this past Saturday with BYU. Thought you would enjoy this!
