Domer Advances in US Women's Amateur!

 

Lauren Beaudreau (Lemont, IL), a member of the Notre Dame Women's Golf Team -- knocked in a birdie putt on the 19th hole of her match yesterday to advance to today's Round of 32 at the US Women's Amateur!

Lauren, a sophomore -- teed off this morning in her match against Lauren Castle at 8:10 AM ET.

11:30 AM ET UPDATE:  Lauren won her match 4 and 3 -- now advancing to the Quarterfinals this afternoon!

Domer's MLB Debut: 5 Scoreless Innings!

His name is Brandon Bielak -- he's a former standout pitcher for the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame who was drafted in 2017 by the Houston Astros in the 11th round...

Brandon made his Major League starting debut last night -- throwing 5 scoreless innings for the Astros.  Bielak was 2-0 coming into the game -- having earned wins in his two previous relief appearances for Houson:
