If you did not watch the game and just looked at Notre Dame's offensive stats for the game -- you'd be hard pressed to think the Irish won the game, let alone by 28 points...
Here's what is concerning:
- For the fourth straight week -- Notre Dame was lousy on 3rd down:
- USC game: ND was 3 for 10 on third down
- Louisville game: ND was 3 for 13 on third down
- Duke game: ND was 3 for 15 on third down
- Ohio State game: ND was 5 for 10 on third down
- The average this season for college football is 66.9 offensive plays per game
- USC game: ND ran 49 plays on offense
- Louisville game: ND ran 55 plays on offense
- Duke game: ND ran 63 plays on offense
- Ohio State game: ND ran 64 plays on offense
We have to improve our offensive performance going forward.

USC Week: Play Like A Champion Today Luncheon!
Notre Dame Football will be hosting another Friday luncheon this week at the Embassy Suites by Hilton -- directly south of Notre Dame Stadium. The cost is $100 per person -- includes a Play Like A Champion Today gift.
Audric Estime, Benjamin Morrison, Sonia Citron and Hannah Hidalgo will be interviewed during the luncheon -- and there will be a special surprise guest.
The doors open at 11:30 AM ET.

At the end of the lunch there will be an opportunity for 50 people to meet privately with four Notre Dame student athletes -- if you purchase an additional ticket for $200
