Three Times This Season In the Red Zone...
We've had just ten defenders on the field. It happened once in the game vs. Tennessee State and as the world knows -- it happened twice last night vs. Ohio State.
You would have hoped -- after this happened a few weeks ago, we would have had a plan to make sure this never happened again.
What's truly sad is -- on the last play of the game -- Ohio State made a change in personnel, forcing the Big Ten refs to hold up the snap of the ball to give Notre Dame's defense the opportunity to make personnel changes. We didn't make any...
It's because we had no idea that only ten players were on the field -- FOR TWO STRAIGHT PLAYS.

The former Notre Dame star talks his record run last night -- one second away from WORLD RECORD TIME!
The "Transfer Portal QB's" All Played Yesterday...
The three former Notre Dame QB's who entered the transfer portal -- all played for their respective teams: Buchner (Alabama), Pyne (Arizona State) and Jurkovec (Pittsburgh).
Here were their stats:
- Buchner: 5 for 14 = 34 yards -- a QBR of: 15.2
- Pyne: 5 for 13 = 52 yards and a QBR of: 2.9
- Jurkovec: 8 for 20 = 81 yards (3 interceptions) and a QBR of: 10.3
Here's Sam Hartman's numbers yesterday:

Ohio State Week: Friday Football Luncheon -- Tickets!
Remember the old "Football Friday's" at Notre Dame when we had a luncheon over in the north dome of the Joyce Athletic Center -- well, it's coming back for the Friday before the Ohio State game.
Only this time it will be taking place in the Ballroom of the Embassy Suites Hotel --- directly south of Notre Dame Stadium.
Mike Golic and Mike Golic Jr. will host the luncheon and will be joined by Sam Hartman, Cam Hart, a few other Notre Dame student-athletes and a special guest speaker! Should be great fun!
Tickets are $100 per person. Get your ticket today!
Proceeds will go towards Notre Dame's NIL fund.
