His name is the Rev. Patrick Peyton, C.S.C., a Holy Cross Priest who graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1937. Last Tuesday, Pope Francis declared Fr. Patrick Peyton as "venerable" -- placing him on the path to sainthood.
