It wasn't easy -- but, a WIN IS A WIN -- especially when it's a highly ranked opponent in an ACC game on the road.

Notre Dame had a 22 point lead -- sixteen minutes into the game -- only to see Maryland take the lead late in the second half.  But, some big shots down the stretch from Jewell Loyd and a HUGE THREE from Kayla McBride -- with just nine seconds left sealed the deal...

Final score:  ND 87 - Maryland 83

Muffet's #2 Irish Take on #6 Maryland Tonight!

The undefeated and second ranked Fighting Irish of Notre Dame (who have won 41 straight regular season games) play the #6 ranked Maryland Terrapins tonight at 7 PM ET on ESPN2. 

Another tough road test for Muffet's gang -- should be quite the game!
