#9 Notre Dame Goes 4 - 0 vs. #2 Michigan!
Notre Dame Hockey completed their sweep of Michigan this season with a 2 - 1 win over the #2 ranked Wolverines. No team has won more than 1 game against Michigan this season -- EXCEPT FOR THE IRISH who have gone 4 - 0 versus the team from Ann Arbor.
Notre Dame finished the season in 3rd place in the Big Ten -- giving the Fighting Irish "home ice" advantage this weekend vs. #6 seed Wisconsin. Here's a look at the Big Ten Hockey Championship playoff grid...

Notre Dame Finishes Third at Watersound Inv.
The Fighting Irish finished in 3rd place at the Watersound Invitational (Palm City Beach, FL) after shooting a final round team score of -4 under par.
The #15 ranked Notre Dame squad finished the tournament with a team score of -6 under par -- beating these ranked opponents:
- #4 North Carolina by 7 strokes
- #6 Arkansas by 9 strokes
- #12 Wake Forest by 26 strokes
- #26 Clemson by 6 strokes
- #32 Louisville by 10 strokes
- #34 NC State by 9 strokes
- #35 Florida State by 15 strokes
- #37 Virginia by 25 strokes
The Fighting Irish were led by:
- 4th place: Palmer Jackson (-4) -- despite 2 double bogeys on final nine holes
- 9th place: Davis Chatfield (-3)
- 23rd place: Taichi Kho (+1)
I know Coach Handrigan and his Irish would love to have that first round back -- because Notre Dame was -19 under par for the final two rounds. Georgia Tech won the tournament with a score of -15 under par for the three day tournament

Notre Dame Men's Golf Posted Low Round...
The Fighting Irish posted a -15 under score yesterday -- the low round after two days of the three day Watersound Invitational (Panama City Beach, FL)!
This tournament has a number of the top ranked teams in the country competing:
- #4 North Carolina
- #6 Arkansas
- #12 Wake Forest
- #15 NOTRE DAME
- #17 Georgia Tech
The Irish are now tied for 5th place with Clemson -- after sitting in 13th place, among the fourteen teams, after day one.
Another big day today and who knows where Notre Dame will finish!
