A decent end to a NBA Summer League session in Las Vegas for Notre Dame's Pat Connaughton '15.
Pat hit a game winning three-pointer (IN DOUBLE OT / SUDDEN DEATH -- first basket won the game) on Tuesday night and then followed that up with a 23 point performance last night against the Boston Celtics to end up the Trailblazers 5 game NBA Summer League season in Las Vegas.

Yes, there's a bass fishing tournament for college teams (FLW Collegiate Bass Fishing Tournament) and Notre Dame had a team compete!
The team, made up of Notre Dame student-athletes Josh Anderson (football) and Bo Brauer (hockey) finished 17th out of 85 teams in the competition. The tournament was held in Wisconsin on the Mississippi River -- see LA TIMES story below.
They caught the limit of five Bass -- that weighed 10.6 lbs. -- the winning team caught five fish that weighed a total of 14 lbs.
Have to thank ND GO IRISH regular Tommy Naccarato for alerting me to this story!
Former Notre Dame All-American Skylar Diggins was the subject of this story today in Vogue -- after her appearance at last night's ESPYS in Los Angles...
In the top photo -- Skylar is seen on ESPYS stage with Usher.
The Gatorade Women's High School Basketball National Player of the Year award winner Erin Boley '20 -- now enrolled at the University of Notre Dame -- was honored last night in Los Angeles at the ESPYS.
That's Erin in the front row -- all the way to the left -- in a photo of all of the Gatorade National Award Winners!
The ESPYS -- which were held last night in Los Angeles -- will be televised tonight on ABC beginning at 8 PM ET
Former Notre Dame All-American -- Molly Huddle '06, is the first American in history to win the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters at the US Olympic Trials!
A few items with Knute Rockne when he died in a plane crash back in 1931 are up for auction for the next few weeks. Here's the story -- and a link to where you can bid on them:
Former Notre Dame basketball star Zach Auguste '16, scored his first ever professional basketball points on a hustle dunk -- in his first game with the Lakers Friday night -- ON HIS BIRTHDAY!
In Zach's second game with the Los Angeles Lakers (last night) he scored 8 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, had 2 steals and blocked 1 shot in his 20 minutes of action!
I'm not sure if former Notre Dame All-American Golden Tate still swings the golf club "cross handed" -- but, if he does -- you can expect it will be a subject of discussion when NBC televises the upcoming Celebrity Golf Classic in Lake Tahoe.
Golden is excited about playing in the event scheduled for July 22 - 24.
