Receiving 48% of the vote, the Grotto won easily over the Main Building (Golden Dome) which finished second with 23%. The Basilica of Sacred Heart finished third.

The Grotto was selected as the favorite Building / Location on the University of Notre Dame campus -- amongst the visitors to the ND GO IRISH blog site in a poll taken the last two days. Every Football Weekend at Notre Dame -- the Trumpet Section of the Band of the Fighting Irish performs in the Dome -- just before marchout to the Stadium. It's a "must see" Notre Dame moment.

Just reviewed the rosters of the two Super Bowl teams and the Colts are the only team with a ND Player in their organization -- and that's Terrail Lambert (defensive back) who's currently on their Practice Squad.
