Indiana's Governor Holcomb just announced the state's BACK ON TRACK plan...
Here are the highlights:
STAGE TWO: Begins Monday, May 4th (all but Cass, Marion & Lake counties)
- Hoosiers 65 & over should remain at home
- Recommended that Hoosiers wear face masks in public
- Gatherings of up to 25 will be allowed -- with social distancing being practiced
- Essential travel ban lifted
- Encouraging remote work continues
- Restaurants & bars that serve food can open at 50% capacity
- Malls can open at 50% capacity -- as will some Retail categories
- Religious services -- can open on May 8th
STAGE THREE: Begins May 24th
- Hoosiers 65 & over can begin limited exposure to others
- Face masks continue to used in public
- Gatherings of up to 100 will be allowed -- with social distancing being practiced
- No travel restrictions
- Retail capacity can go to 75%
- Gyms, fitness centers, pools -- may reopen with some CDC guidelines in place
- Bars and Nightclubs -- remain closed
STAGE FOUR: Begins June 14th
- Hoosiers 65 & over should remain cautious with public exposure
- Face mask are optional
- Gatherings of up to 250 will be allowed -- with social distancing being practiced
- Malls are open at FULL capacity
- Bars and Nightclubs can open at 50% capacity
- Restaurant dining rooms open at 75% capacity
- Recreational sports and tournaments can begin
- Amusement parks can open at 50% capacity
- Large sports and entertainment venues still closed -- as well as festivals, conventions, parades, etc.
STAGE FIVE: Begins July 4th
- Hoosiers 65 & over should continue social distancing habits
- Face masks are optional
- Gatherings of OVER 250 people may begin -- provided they are following CDC guidelines
- Restaurants and Bars -- back to full capacity
- Amusement parks are open to full capacity
No word on when venues like Notre Dame Stadium will be approved to re-open...
