I'm guessing the folks at ESPN think the player on the left -- in the top photo and the player on the right in the middle photo is Notre Dame QB Everett Golson.
These are the photos they're using on their website promoting Saturday night's PRIMETIME game between Florida State and Notre Dame...
News Flash: It's not Everett Golson. If you want proof, take a look at the bottom photo of Golson at the Shamrock Series game against Purdue (the only time he's worn this helmet / jersey combo) -- you'll see him wearing two wrist bands and a dark blue chin strap...
If you look even closer at the top two photos of the ND player -- you'll see what looks like two numbers on the front of the Shamrock Series jersey -- which makes me think it's freshman QB DeShone Kizer who wears #14. DeShone hasn't seen the field this year -- and barring injury, probably won't. This would be a photo of him warming up before the game.
And, if it's not KIZER -- is this just a photo shop effort gone bad?
So what we have here ESPN is this --in the top photo for Florida State we have Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston and the bottom photo it's star wide receiver Rashad Greene -- opposite a third string QB at Notre Dame -- or, a made up photo shopped player for Notre Dame.
Which is it?
