Living many years in Michigan before moving to South Bend a few years ago -- we were well aware of Kyle Brindza's story...

I'm surprised it's taken this long for the media to pick up on all of the surgeries Kyle endured just to be able to walk -- let alone kick a football for the Fighting Irish.
