Mike's Dad (the late Tim Willis '84) and his Mom Sue Willis '86 are neighbors and great friends. I recall a conversation Mike and I had (after his playing days were over) about chasing a career in football -- and here he is getting his first head coaching gig.
Mike's younger brother Brian was a two-time Bengal Bouts champ at Notre Dame!
I know he'd love to coach here at Notre Dame someday!
