Jackie Young and Marina Mabrey Make Debuts
The two former Fighting Irish stars went a combined 6 for 8 from the floor in their WNBA debuts last night in the Las Vegas Aces win over the Los Angeles Sparks.
Jackie Young was Jackie Young -- she only took four shots and made EVERY ONE OF THEM!
Oh, by the way -- the Las Vegas Aces have a couple more "Domers" -- head coach Bill Laimbeer and star guard Kayla McBride. Kayla scored 20 points in the win!

Domer Mike Lee Fights for World Boxing Title!
On Saturday, July 20th -- Notre Dame alum Mike Lee '09, will finally get his chance to fight for a world title. The three-time Bengal Bouts champion will take his undefeated professional record (21-0) into the ring against the reigning and undefeated IBF Super Middleweight World Champion Caleb Plant (18-0).
The fight will be televised from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on FOX at 7 PM ET.

In 1898, Hering earned a bachelors in English (Litt.B.) and a bachelors in Law (L.L.B.) in 1902 from Notre Dame. He taught English from 1898-1902 and later served Notre Dame for many years as a Lay Associate of the Board of Lay Trustees and as President of the Notre Dame Alumni Association.
