Domers Dunne & Veihmeyer Make AT&T Cut!

Jimmy Dunne '78 and John Veihmeyer '77 will be playing in today's final round of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am -- after making the cut!  Only the top 25 teams made the cut this year -- Dunne and Reed got in on a scorecard playoff.

Veihmeyer and his professional playing partner Phil Mickelson are at -18 for the tournament and are tied for 17th place.  Dunne and his professional playing partner Patrick Reed are at -17 in a tie for 21st.

In the video above -- John Veihmeyer '77 is the first to give Phil a "fist bump" after his chip in -- and then you'll see Jimmy Dunne '78 getting ready to putt say something to Phil.

There are three teams tied for the lead at -23

Condoleezza Rice '75 and her professional playing partner Jason Bohn had a great third round scored of 64 -- but, they ended up at -13, four shots below the cut line.

Veihmeyer is in for a pretty special day.  His playing partner Phil Mickelson -- just happens to be leading the professional tournament.  So John will be playing in the last group on Sunday at a PGA Tour event -- WOW!!!

FYI: John is the Global Chairman of KPMG -- Mickelson's long-time sponsor...

Jimmy will be playing in a foursome with his playing partner Patrick Reed and two other PGA Tour players Kevin Streelman and Tyler Aldridge.  I wouldn't be surprised if Dunne beats one of them straight up -- last year Jimmy carded a 69 at Pebble Beach in this tournament.

TV COVERAGE begins:
