Notre Dame's Path to College Football Playoff
Last week we had "nine" teams ahead of us in the rankings -- and now we have seventeen -- after the loss to Texas. I can assure you this -- we win every game here on out, we'll be playing in a College Football Playoff game.
Now, having said that -- we still could use a couple of upsets this weekend. This weekend's games are pretty light after last week's top match-ups:
Arkansas at #15 TCU -- I think we should root for an Arkansas win here. After losing a game to a Big 12 school last week, we need that conference champion to have a loss or two... ROOT FOR ARKANSAS here.
Iowa State at #16 Iowa -- Again, we need to see the Big 12 struggle -- an Iowa win is a good thing. They are not going to run the table and win the Big Ten title. ROOT FOR THE HAWKEYES here.
Kentucky at Florida -- Surprised the Gators fell out of the Top 25 after winning last week. This is a game that I don't think we need to worry about either team as a threat to take one of the spots ND will be fighting for in the College Football Playoff. Pick your favorite -- I'm rooting for Kentucky in this one.
