Couldn't be happier for Romeo Okwara '16 -- who is battling to earn a spot on the Giants 53 man roster even though he was overlooked in the NFL Draft.
The 21 year-old already has an Accounting Degree in hand from Notre Dame -- let's hope he can hold off that profession for a few years!

Former Notre Dame football player Davaris Daniels is playing for the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League. In just his 2nd game -- Davaris blocked a punt and he caught five passes for 108 yards and a TD!

The redwood benches in the upper bowl of Notre Dame Stadium are being replaced with a "blue" acrylic-steel bench system in time for the Nevada game. The lower bowl benches will be replaced prior to next football season!

His journey across America began back on April 28th in Atlantic City, NJ -- this afternoon at the Pacific shore (San Francisco) -- Notre Dame alum David Roth '91, finishes his 3,191 mile ROUTE FOR THE BRAVE!
And, to top it all of -- he's going to walk the "game ball" for tonight's San Francisco 49ers game out to midfield prior to kick-off.

Fox Sports' Colin Cowherd speaks to what makes Notre Dame different -- to that I say, what's wrong with being different!
He also goes on to say ND football is "not a top ten coaching destination" --- this is the same guy that said this just a couple of weeks ago about our program: 8 GLOBAL SPORTS BRANDS.
And, this just came out today about college football royalty.

Notre Dame alum David Roth '91 will finish his 3,091 walk across America this Friday to raise money for military veterans. The journey began back on April 28th in Atlantic City.
Roth has walked an average of 30 miles a day -- six days a week -- think about that!

Coach Kelly met with the six football players involved in the two separate incidents Friday evening and decided on the following:
- Max Redfield has been dismissed from the football team.
- Devin Butler has been indefinitely suspended.
- The other four players -- Stepherson, White, Coney and Williams will face internal discipline.
Each of these players still await the University's discipline process and the legal system...
