Historic Rainfall -- Notre Dame & South Bend
When it rains, it pours -- and did it ever these past 18 hours or so here at Notre Dame. A historic rainfall -- as 7" to 9" of rain fell over night -- flooding the road between Saint Mary's Lake and the Grotto, causing power outages across campus.

"Paisley's Daddy" Visits Notre Dame Today
ESPN's Tom Rinaldi told a story two years ago about a young girl with Down Syndrome named Paisley White -- and her Dad's struggle upon learning his daughter had this genetic disorder.
Heath White (AKA "Paisley's Daddy") a FBI Special Agent and a former Air Force pilot --- has been traveling the country these past couple of years sharing their story...
Heath is in South Bend for LOGAN'S RUN -- a 5k / 10k race this Saturday on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. I had the pleasure of giving Heath a tour of campus this afternoon (photo of Heath above).
