Elie Wiesel with Father Ted Hesburgh in 1984

Holocaust survivor and Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel, passed away yesterday at the age of 87.

Here's a photo of Wiesel with Notre Dame's Fr. Ted Hesburgh -- back in 1984 -- Wiesel was on the University of Notre Dame campus filming a television documentary.

Torii Hunter Jr. -- Signs Deal With LA Angels

The Notre Dame student-athlete signed a contract yesterday with the Los Angeles Angels -- NO WORRIES -- he'll still be playing football for the Fighting Irish this fall.
