Can you believe it -- Muffet McGraw's Fighting Irish played a Big East road game last night against Providence
in front of an "announced" crowd of 179 fans. WHAT???!!! Here's a team (Notre Dame) that averages more than 8,000 in attendance for its home games -- 4th best in the country -- playing in front of 179 fans on the road... C'MON PROVIDENCE!!! Oh, by the way -- the 18th ranked Irish won the game 79-43.
