Onwualu's Pro Day Numbers vs. Combine #'s

Notre Dame football captain James Onwualu was not invited to last month's NFL Scouting Combine -- today was his day to shine in front of the NFL scouts...


Here's how Onwualu's numbers compared to all of the linebackers who tested at the NFL Scouting Combine -- (I don't count Peppers as a LB):
  • BENCH PRESS:  24 reps of 225 -- 3rd overall among LB's 
  • 60 YARD SHUTTLE:  11.54 -- 3rd overall among LB's
  • VERTICAL JUMP:  36" -- 4th overall among LB's 
  • SHORT SHUTTLE:  4.28 -- 7th overall among LB's
  • 40 YARD DASH:  4.73 -- 14th overall among LB's
  • BROAD JUMP:  9'-11" -- 12 th overall among LB's

Notre Dame vs. Purdue a NCAA "Pajama Party"

The #2 ranked Fighting Irish host Purdue tonight at 9 PM ET at Purcell Pavilion in a 2nd Round NCAA tournament game...

To get fans to show up this late on a Sunday night -- 9 PM ET -- Notre Dame put together this clever campaign (see video above).  The first 500 kids who show up for the game in their pajamas (local schools are closed tomorrow) will receive a free hot dog and soda!

Game will be televised LIVE on ESPN2.
