Happy Mother's Day From Notre Dame!
This is a photo of my "Notre Dame Mom" -- Joan Small. Mom passed in June of 2012 and I'm sure she's become one of the more active members of the Notre Dame Club of Heaven.
My Mom left this life a little too soon -- at the age of 73 -- so be sure to tell your Moms that you LOVE THEM and be sure to THANK them for all they've done and continue to do for you.
Once they leave for Heaven -- they leave a great void in your life.
Here's what my colleagues here at Notre Dame created this year to THANK ALL OF THE NOTRE DAME MOMS -- linked below. I think they did a terrific job!
The photo above of my MOM sits above my desk at the University of Notre Dame -- she keeps watch over me -- every day.

Brian Kelly's Statement on Everett Golson
“I’d like to thank Everett Golson for all he did as a member of our football program. He had many significant achievements, including helping us to an undefeated regular season and berth into the national title game. But his most important accomplishment is completing his course work toward a degree from the University of Notre Dame. I wish him all the best moving forward.
“We, of course, have approached our preparations for the upcoming season with this possibility in mind. The emergence of Malik Zaire, based on his performance in the Music City Bowl win over LSU, and throughout spring practice, has given our staff supreme confidence that he can lead our team to great success in 2015.”
