The University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish had a number of big wins -- and a very close loss -- over this "winter" weekend. Many of the Irish teams were in action; the 14th ranked men's basketball team, the 12th ranked women's basketball team, the 11th ranked hockey team and the men and women track & field teams kicked off their indoor season.
