Three weeks from today, the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame and the Black Knights of Army -- will play the first football game in the Yankees' new $1.5 billion home. The "home game" for the Irish, marks the first time since 1946 that the Irish have played in New York City. That 1946 contest, also against Army, in the "old" Yankee Stadium, ended in a 0-0 tie -- a game many have called the "greatest of all time." Yesterday, the Yankees released this photo of the first goal post in their new baseball park -- as they make the transformation to a football stadium. I can't wait!
