Brian Kelly, let some ND students know at Siegfried Hall today that the IRISH were going to go "old school" in their game in September against Michigan. The Irish will be donning the "gold helmets" with the SHAMROCK.
Old school to the Kuharich days??...Why would we want to relive that? The helmets are supposed to be a reflection of mini "golden domes"....unless someone is painting a shamrock on the side of the dome, don't put them on the side of the helmets.
Really? You're complaining about ONE shamrock, for ONE game. For the love of God, get a grip. If they were going with them for the entire year, yea,I'm with you, but geez man it's one "throwback" game for pete's sake. I wouldn't mind seeing the interlocking ND for one game either.
