Notre Dame Religious Liberty Clinic's Leader

It was announced on Wednesday that Stephanie Barclay -- a former member of the faculty at BYU's Law School -- would be leading the newly formed Notre Dame Religious Liberty Clinic.

Stephanie will spend this next year at Notre Dame getting the Clinic up and running and then will head to Washington, D.C. for the fall semester of 2021 to clerk for Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch.

The New View of Notre Dame from Eddy Street

 

I live a block off of Eddy Street -- so for the better part of the last two-three years, we've seen the "back side" of all of the construction...

The top photo is the view from just "north" of the new Robinson Center -- back up Eddy Street towards the Notre Dame campus.

The bottom photo is the view from the same spot on Eddy Street (now looking east) towards our Triangle Neighborhood.

This image is from the corner -- right across the street from Brother's Bar & Grill -- looking south down the new development on Eddy Street...

 

These two photos are new additions to the Eddy Street Development -- the top photo is a park area, right across the street from Brother's Bar & Grill (looking south).  The bottom photo is of a Dog Park that is being constructed just down the block from Brother's -- down Napolean Street at the corner of Georgiana Street.

Reds Draft Notre Dame PItcher in 5th Round

His name is Joe Boyle and he's a 6'-7" reliever, who gets it to the plate in a hurry...

Boyle is the 120th baseball player in Notre Dame history to be taken in the Major League Baseball Draft.

It will be interesting to see if Boyle returns for his senior season with the Fighting Irish -- or, signs a contract with the Cincinnati Reds.
