Domer Jimmy Dunne in 10th at Pebble Beach!



Notre Dame alum and Trustee, Jimmy Dunne and his playing partner Troy Merritt (PGA Tour Player) -- have made the cut at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am!

They are at -20 after the third round in 10th place...

Merritt is -3 on his own ball -- meaning Jimmy has contributed -17 to their team score -- including a hole out LIVE on #10 (from the bunker) for a birdie on CBS!

The XFL Starts Today -- the Teams & Helmets

A number of former Notre Dame football players will be playing this weekend as XFL gets started on Fox.  Here's the four XFL teams and their helmets -- that you can find our former Fighting Irish:

TAMPA BAY VIPERS -- TAREAN FOLSTON, RB

NEW YORK GUARDIANS -- JARRON JONES, OT & SCOTT DALY, LS

SEATTLE DRAGONS -- NYLES MORGAN, LB

DALLAS RENEGADES -- GREER MARTINI, LB






Domer Dunne in 16th Place at Pebble Beach!


Notre Dame alum Jimmy Dunne (also a member of the Board of Trustees) is in 16th place going into today's Third Round of the AT&T National Pebble Beach Pro Am.  Jimmy is playing with PGA Tour member Troy Merritt.

Through the first two rounds Merritt and Dunne are at -14, five srokes off the lead.  Merritt is at -4 on his own ball -- meaning Jimmy (a five handicapper) has picked up another 10 strokes to par for their team.  That's great playing.

They tee off today at 12:17 PM ET on #1 at Pebble Beach -- you can watch the tournament LIVE beginning at 1 PM ET on the Golf Channel -- then at 3 PM ET you will have to switch over to CBS for the rest of the coverage.

The low 25 amateur team scores make the cut to play in Sunday's Final Round.  You can follow Jimmy's progress LIVE at the link below...

Notre Dame Trustee Playing at Pebble Beach


The annual AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is underway this week on some of the most beautiful real estate in the world...

Notre Dame alum and Trustee -- Jimmy Dunne (photo above) is playing in the tournament with PGA Professional Troy Merritt.  Jimmy and Troy are currently in a tie for 31st at -11 -- halfway through Round 2.

Troy is -3 on his own ball -- so Jimmy has contributed -8 to their total.  GREAT PLAYING!

Teams that are in the TOP 25 after Round  Three make the cut to play in Sunday's Final Round.

Some of you will remember that Pat recorded the 2nd highest EVER, vertical jump at the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago a few years ago, when he posted a 44" jump!
