The University of Notre Dame received word yesterday from the NCAA that they LED THE NATION in perfect APR -- as 17 of Notre Dame's 26 varsity athletic teams received perfect graduation rates!
- NOTRE DAME: 17 of 26 teams
- Stanford: 15 of 36 teams
- Northwestern: 12 of 19 teams
- Boston College: 10 of 29 teams
- Duke: 9 of 21 teams

Here's the photo of Dean Greg Crawford in the water off of Long Island, NY as he begins a 3,500 mile bike trip to Pebble Beach, CA in hopes of raising $1 million for rare disease research at the University of Notre Dame.

The young man has his degree from Notre Dame -- started 11 games for the Fighting Irish in 2014 and he wasn't confident he'd see the field this fall...
Tells you something about the quality of this upcoming Notre Dame's offensive line.
So, Matt will be playing for the Oregon Ducks this coming season -- I believe I speak for most Irish fans when I say we wish you great success! I hope you have as many starts as helmets in Oregon...

The highest ranked team remaining in men's college lacrosse -- our Fighting Irish of Notre Dame -- play the University of Denver Pioneers today at 1 PM ET on ESPN2 in the NCAA National Semi-Final.
These two teams met earlier in the season -- with Denver winning 11 - 10 in overtime -- back on March 7th.
The winner will take on the winner of the Maryland vs. Johns Hopkins game -- on Memorial Day for the National Championship!

Torii Hunter, Sr. had an off day this past Monday from his outfield duties with the Minnesota Twins so he made the trek to Notre Dame to spend it with his son Torii Jr. and his Fighting Irish baseball teammates.

The most famous sibling of Notre Dame's Class of 2015 was back on campus today seeing her brother Austin Swift '15, graduate.
Hours later -- Taylor and Austin were in Las Vegas at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards winning EIGHT AWARDS -- see story here. That's Taylor and Austin hugging (photos below) after one of her awards.

Billy Meckling (Denver, CO) a 21 year-old engineering major -- a Notre Dame student-athlete set to graduate tomorrow -- died early this morning after falling off the roof of the Joyce Athletic Convocation Center.
Please say a prayer today for the Meckling family and friends. Billy's twin brother Peter attends UC-San Diego and their younger sister Megan is a student at Notre Dame.
What was expected to be one of the great weekends in a family's life has turned into something I can't quite fathom as a parent. So sad...
