Texas to Start Two Frosh OL vs. Notre Dame


Connor Williams and Patrick Vahe were playing "Friday Night Lights" football this time last year in Texas.  In 11 days -- they will make up 40% of the starting Texas offensive line -- as they play their first-ever college football game against Notre Dame.

At least two other freshmen -- I refuse to use the term "true freshmen" -- are also expecting to line-up first for the Longhorns against our Fighting Irish.

Chris Evert's Domer Dad -- Passes at 91


Former Notre Dame All-American tennis player Jimmy Evert '48 --- and dad to all-time tennis great Chris Evert -- passed away Friday at the age of 91.

Arrested for Cocaine Possession -- Miss 3


Can you believe this... 

Clemson's starting place kicker was arrested for a DUI and cocaine possession and he's only suspended for their first three games against Wofford, Appalachian State and Louisville.

He will "likely" return to play against Notre Dame.
